Hello and Happy Holidays!
In the true spirit of what this time of year is all about I would like to bring attention to something I feel needs help and support. I have recently become a Patron of a very new and small charity that I would love to help grow and get on the map. It is called The Dream Factory (http://yourdreamfactory.blogspot.com/p/donate.html).
It is based in The UK and was founded ...by a lady named Avril Mills in 2008.
Avril lost her 9 year old son Oliver to acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and decided to turn her overwhelming and horrendous grief into a medium in honor of Oliver that could help other children and families that are going through any sort of similar affliction and experience.
Avril has diligently and effectively put 100% of her heart and soul into helping others since it started.
The Dream Factory grants wishes, however big or small to ailing and suffering children; giving a nice break and reprieve from theirs and their families constant exposure to illness, hospitals, needles, pain and discomfort etc...
So far to date, 140 wishes have been effectively granted. All done by hard earned volunteer work and donations only.
Some of these wishes have been something as simple as a child getting a TV, special needs toys, a lap top, a cell phone or more elaborately, a limo ride somewhere to trips to Euro Disney with their family to helicopter rides over London.
Last week I attended The Dream Factory's annual Christmas Party for all of the children and their families who have had or are awaiting their wishes granted which was so very emotional and moving… See the pictures in the Dream Factory photo gallery...
In them you will see Issac who's dream was granted to go on a Helicopter ride.
You will see Lora who had a wish granted to ride in a limo to meet the cast members of her favorite show...
The Dream Factory has accomplished a lot since its start but I would love to see thousands of wishes granted every few months possibly even more than that...
Any and all help through, support, word of mouth, Donations or volunteering will easily make that happen. Below is the link to The Dream Factory's web site for more information..

AUSTRALIAN showbiz stalwart Barry Crocker has "hit it off" with Priscilla Presley.
Crocker and Presley have vowed to stay in touch after a cosy lunch at the famed Polo Lounge in Beverly Hills.
The charming Crocker, whose long career includes success on TV, in film and on the stage, was introduced to Presley, the former wife of Elvis Presley, through mutual friends.
"I was there (in LA) for my son's birthday and we were set up by friends," Crocker said of the August date.
"She was delightful, she was terrific.
"It was a very pleasant simple lunch. We hit it off really well.
"She said she does not usually go out with strange men, but I had a very good recommendation and I think she had Googled me and thought that I was not a total ratbag."
Crocker is working on his second autobiography, although the planned mid-year release date has hit a hurdle.
"There has been a bit of a glitch.
"I found out yesterday that there had been some computer problems and we are going to have to go back and redo a lot of stuff," he said.
"It is a great bummer to have that happen to you. It is a set back, what else can I say."

Nola's elegant launch party was sponsored by Perrier-Jouet Champagne and held at the home of her parents, Deena and Marty Singer, the high-profile Hollywood attorney.
Fans of the talented designer, who couldn't wait to try on her latest creations included Amy Smart, Priscilla Presley, Patti Stanger, CSI: Miami star Emily Procter, Ever Carradine, Danielle Panabaker, Grace Phipps and Twilight's Julia Jones.

A Swedish woman claiming to be Elvis Presley's long-lost daughter has filed a $130 million lawsuit against his estate and relatives for defamation and emotional distress.
Lisa Johansen, 43, claims she was the true daughter of the "King of Rock and Roll" and was forcibly exiled to Sweden after her father's 1977 death out of fears she would be kidnapped, Agence France-Presse reported.
She also says she was replaced by "impostor" Lisa Marie Presley and that the singer's wife, Priscilla Presley, was her mother, according to AFP.
The lawsuit filed Nov. 21 in federal court in Memphis, Tenn., stems from a visit Johansen made to Graceland in August with her husband and four children to commemorate the anniversary of Presley's death.
Within days of the family's visit, Presley attorney Martin Singer sent a letter to Johansen's legal representative, stating that she had engaged in "outlandish, bizarre and fraudulent conduct," by boasting to Graceland staff about her close relationship with Presley family, AFP reported.
Singer dismissed the claims, saying "Lisa Johansen's strange obsession with my client's family and her outlandish claims to be the 'real' Lisa Marie Presley completely eviscerate Lisa Johansen's credibility."
Maria Skelly, a spokeswoman for Johansen, said the Presley family has been "provocative and hostile," and engaged in an effort to "intimidate (Johansen) in order to try to make her leave and not dare come back with any kind of claims."
No court date has been set.
